Brownie is Home

1/1

Brownie has one of the purest and kindest hearts in a dog that has ever come through our kennel doors. The more we got to know Brownie, the more thankful we are to have befriended such a one-in-a-million dog.

Brownie came to Buddy Dog when he was 4 months old from Doha, Qatar in the summer of 2017. He belonged to a resident of the Middle Eastern country, but when he outgrew the ability to fit in a purse, he was discarded. Fortunately he was picked up by rescue group Desert Hound Express, and when an open kennel came up at Buddy Dog – he was flown overseas to where he’d find a second chance at a happy life.  But tragically, he suffered a seizure episode within a month of arrival, and it would be the beginning of a long journey to helping Brownie through his epilepsy and finding him the right home.

Early after his arrival at Buddy Dog, a family met with Brownie, but the timing wasn't right to bring a new dog home. A year later, the same family returned to Buddy Dog, saw Brownie was still here and immediately felt a connection. It seemed fate had brought them together, and it was time to bring Brownie home.

Join us in wishing Brownie a happy life full of love with his new family! Thank you to all our visitors, volunteers, and fans who have supported and loved Brownie through his stay at Buddy Dog - he knows he is a special boy and he deserved all your love!
